Flashbook runs a lightweight, read-only check of a website’s public homepage to produce a transparent technical snapshot. It is not a security audit, a ranking forecast or a performance guarantee — just an observation of what a public page and its response headers show.

What it checks (21 signals)

Grouped into four areas, each check is a simple pass / attention observation:

• Security signals: HTTPS, HSTS, X-Content-Type-Options, X-Frame-Options, Content-Security-Policy.
• SEO & search visibility: page title, meta description, headings, canonical link, robots meta, robots.txt, sitemap, social share preview.
• Usability: mobile viewport, page language, image alt text, navigation.
• Product discovery & contact: on-site search, product/service paths, a contact path, a clear call-to-action.

How it behaves

• It reads only the public homepage (and robots.txt / sitemap.xml). It does not log in, submit forms or access private areas.
• It respects robots.txt. If a site disallows automated access to a page, we don’t scan it.
• It makes a small number of requests and does not crawl deeply or repeatedly.
• It never invents scores — unavailable checks are reported as unavailable, not failed.
